The mission of Carondelet Manor is to continue the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by providing long-term health care for older persons of all faiths, races and socio-economic backgrounds.

At Carondelet Manor, we're proud of the special love, caring and support that surrounds our residents. Because we know home is where the heart is, we do all we can to make our residents feel at home. From the inviting French country architecture on the outside to the residents' own personal touches in their rooms, Carondelet Manor is designed to make residents feel at home.

Sunlight beams through the many skylights and windows brighten every room. Other special touches that add warmth include comfortable lounges and scenic outdoor courtyards. All the areas are designed so that the residents, their families and staff members can build friendships.

Residents may choose a private or semi-private room. The little extra touches, like wall-to-wall carpet, hardwood floors, wallpaper and private bathrooms, help to make either choice more comfortable.

Seating and table arrangements in our spacious dining room are not only accommodating, they're also very inviting.

When a quiet moment is in order, the chapel with its beautiful stained glass window offers a special touch of reverence as well as sunlit elegance.

Our strong commitment to caring and to the welfare of our residents motivates us to offer the best possible all-around care available in the Kansas City area. Our staff is determined to provide each resident with focused, individualized care that meets physical as well as emotional, social and spiritual needs. Residents are free to choose physicians who make them feel the most comfortable.

At Carondelet Manor, we encourage residents and their families to be involved in all aspects of their or their loved ones care. By fostering a close family unit, we believe we can enhance our residents' health and happiness. We are also committed to providing "extra" services like flexible visiting hours, special family night activities, family education and support services.
